Wedding services in Italy
From legal paperwork to the last dance - one coordinated team
How a wedding in Italy comes together
Every wedding in Italy, however different, comes down to three things working together. The celebration itself - the place, the people, the food and the rhythm of the day. The legal side - documents, deadlines, translations and the town hall. And the ceremony - the words that turn a beautiful day into your wedding.
Most of the problems we see happen in the gaps between them: a venue booked before anyone checked the paperwork timeline, a civil ceremony planned without an interpreter, documents translated that nobody actually asked for. None of these are dramatic on their own, but together they are what turns a dream into a stressful few months.
Efffetti was built to close those gaps. For almost two decades we have looked after international couples who choose Italy, bringing creative planning and serious legal expertise under one roof - so the beautiful part and the bureaucratic part move forward together, at the right time.

The Efffetti difference
Efffetti was born in Tuscany and grew into an established team serving international couples across Italy. We are known for an elegant, curated style and for a rare combination in the wedding world: creative direction paired with real legal expertise.
That combination matters more than it sounds. When the same team understands both your table plan and your Certificate of No Impediment, decisions get made in the right order. The date you fall in love with is checked against the paperwork it requires. The interpreter is booked with the town hall, not discovered missing the week before. And your celebration stays beautiful, not stressful.
You can book everything together or just the part you need - planning only, translations only, a celebrant only, or any combination that suits you. Want to know what a wedding planner actually does, day by day? Francesca explains it here.

1. Tell us what you are imagining. Your date (even an approximate one), the area you are dreaming of, how many guests and the kind of ceremony you have in mind. A few lines are enough to begin.
2. We point you to the right team. We reply with an initial overview and suggest a video call, so we can understand your plans before preparing a tailored proposal. If you only need one service, we connect you directly with the specialists who handle it.
3. The legal timeline comes first. If you are planning a civil wedding, we look at the paperwork straight away. It depends on your nationality and personal situation, but most couples begin three to six months before the wedding - and knowing the timeline early protects everything else you book.
4. Then the fun part. Venue, suppliers, ceremony, the flow of the day: with the legal side under control, the creative decisions can be made calmly, and enjoyed.
Some couples love organising their own wedding and only want an expert eye on the plan, and someone in charge on the day. We offer professional review and on-the-day coordination for exactly that.
